Anna Silk is a Fredericton native and the child of Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able perform, direct production, create plays as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British and her mother was is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements in her youth. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually making the move to Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They got engaged in 2009 after getting married. Anna had just recently converted to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured in CNN's top TV couple list. They were also named by E! as the top TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Its popularity led to Anna building a large audience on social networks.
